Teresa Lee is a stand-up comedian and retired gogo dancer.

She has been featured on NBC Asian America, written jokes on MTV’s “Middle of the Night Show” and writes and produces comedy for Cracked.  She can be seen in season 2 of Take My Wife on Seeso and has performed on the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles. Teresa brings her unique voice to the stage and addresses social issues and gender norms through her personal experiences. Her style is honest with a sharp wit, and she has been described as both sweet and thought-provoking.  She hosts American Pie, a monthly show at UCB Inner Sanctum, and also co-hosts Very Forward with Claire Downs and Teresa Lee.

Some festivals she's played in include Brooklyn Comedy Festival, Crom Comedy Festival, Funny Women Festival in LA, The Comedy Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Festival.  She has performed comedy at notable venues and shows such as Joe's Pub, The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, Upright Citizen's Brigade, The Punchline in SF, The Comedy Store Main Room, Sleepaway Camp, Comedians You Should Know LA, Fresh Out, and more.  She produced and co-hosted The Worst Show: 420 Edition at Nerdmelt and previously ran several shows in New York including Who Dis? (I Love U) and Fat Mondays @ Bo's.

Teresa has written videos & articles for Cracked, Funny Or Die, College Humor 2, and Reductress and her viral videos have been picked up by Huffington Post, Elite Daily, Mashable, and Splitsider. She studied improv at The UCB Training Center in their Advanced Study program, was a member of UCB's digital house team Also Also, and was twice recipient of the Upright Citizen's Brigade Diversity Scholarship.

She currently resides in Los Angeles and misses New York greatly. You can catch her doing live comedy most nights out of the week. You can also catch her crying in her car on the 405 most days out of the week.

She is not this person, who is also a Teresa Lee from the Bay Area that moved to New York. Hopefully that Teresa Lee gets married and changes her last name soon.
